What is the Self-Employed Tax Credit (SETC)?

The Self-Employed Tax Credit, formally known as the Paid Sick and Family Leave Credit was  introduced under the FFCRA and later extended by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP), provides financial relief to freelancers, independent contractors, and other self-employed individuals who lost income due to COVID-19-related reasons.
