The credit is calculated based on your average daily self-employment income and the number of days you couldn’t work due to COVID-19.
- If you were sick or in quarantine, the credit is up to $511 per day for up to 10 days.
- If you were caring for a family member or a child whose school or daycare was closed due to COVID, the credit is two-thirds of your average daily income, capped at $200 per day. This can be claimed for up to 50 days in 2020 and 60 days in 2021.
